Frequently Asked Questions
Can mildew and grey removed from the fence?
Absolutely. We use a special bleaching and chemical treatment solution which allows us to remove any mildew and fungi.
Do what pressure is used to clean the fence?
Will the bleaching treatment remove existing stains?
Can Oil / Water stains on a fence be removed?
Which is preferred, Bleaching Solution or Power Washing your fence?
Bleaching solution is preferred hands down. The reason for that is because it is far more gentle and effective on the wood, without removing a fine layer of surface and compromising the wood in the process.
How does your Stain Process Works?
Our stain process is comprised of a commercial grade paraffin based oil stain, which is saturated deep within the wood allowing maximum absorption and protection.
How Long will the Staining Last?
We guarantee 2 years life expectancy. However, it is more than possible that the stain will last for up to 4 years.
Are Rails Replaced in the exact location each time?
We will normally install the rails either above or below the existing rails. The reason for that is because upon removing the old rails, damage to the spikes might occur so we must install new ones instead.
What About Shrubs Next to Fences?
We will ask the homeowner to get rid of the shrubs and vines, or will simply stain around them. That is entirely up to the homeowner.
Is There a Benefit to Staining?
Of course. Staining doesn’t only rejuvenate the appearance of your fence and the wood, but also offers protection against environmental and biological elements such as sunlight or fungi.
How Long does it take to Stain a Fence?
It will normally take up to 2 days. At the end of the first day we allow to dry, and return the second day to seal and stain.
Should I wait before Staining my Fence?
Depending on the type of fence. If you have a board on board fence a curing process of up to 2 months is required. However, for a side by side fence you can stain right away.
